ParaShape is a library of parametric 3D models. The SketchUp extension opens the library in a dialog inside SketchUp, lets you adjust a model’s parameters, and places the result in your model as components.

Install

  1. Download parashape.rbz with the button above. Do not unzip it.
  2. In SketchUp: Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension, then select the .rbz file.
  3. Open the ParaShape library from the Extensions menu.

Free and Pro

  • Browsing the library and adjusting parameters are not counted.
  • Free: 10 placements into SketchUp (or file downloads on the web) per UTC day, shared between the plugin and the web library.
  • ParaShape Pro: US$24, one-time payment. Removes the daily limit in both the plugin and the web library.

Requirements

  • SketchUp 2022 or newer. The extension works in any SketchUp edition that can install extensions.
  • An internet connection: the library and model data load from parashape.3dshouse.com.
