When using Sketchup, sometimes you want to change the background color for personal purposes.Let’s watch our tutorial video to customize a background color of model in Sketchup just easy steps.
Tuorial video:
- To show Default Tray dialog box: Go to Window > Default Tray > Show Tray
- In the Default Tray dialog, select Styles Tab
- There are many styles already saved in the style library
- You can choose Default Styles to edit.
- Select any style, go to Edit tab, select Background Settings icon
- Choose your desired background, sky, and ground options.
- You can choose only Background or Turn ON/OFF Sky/ Ground
- To change Background/ Sky/ Ground color, select color in color wheel
- You can also change Transparency
- You can save your setting as a new style. Let’s rename a style and click on a left icon to save and re-edit setting anytime setting you want
Go to Window Default Tray Show Tray 
- Select color in color wheel
Save your setting as a new style
